Sometimes, the most beautiful fairy tales aren't written in books—they are written in the sky, across thousands of miles. ✨
This week on Happy Toppy, Zinny takes us to a very peaceful place: the village of Eskikaraağaç, sitting quietly on the shores of Lake Uluabat in Bursa, Türkiye. We aren't just visiting for the view; we are sharing an incredible true story that has defied distance, time, and all odds.
🛶 A Friendship That Stays the Course
Fourteen years ago, a stork decided to land on a small fishing boat. That moment was the beginning of a legendary friendship between Uncle Adem and a stork named Yaren.
Every single spring, Yaren flies thousands of miles from Africa, guided by what we call a "Compass of Love," just to find that same small boat and her dear friend, Uncle Adem. It’s not just a reunion; it’s a story of loyalty that proves nature and humans can speak the same language.
We want to send a huge thank you to Mehmet Cihan Türkmen, an amazing teacher from Dağkadı Village in Karacabey, for sharing the wonderful news of this year's reunion with us! It’s teachers like you who help keep the magic of nature alive for our children.
Want to see Yaren and her partner Nazlı in their nest right now? Happy Toppy has shared all the details on how to access the live nest-cam in the first pinned comment of our video! 🐣
Do you have a special bond with the world around you?
